Beyond the Naked Eye
Small-group stargazing experience at our 60-acre dark-sky ranch in Terlingua, Texas.
The Starlingua Experience
Naked-Eye Navigation
We start the evening with a laser-guided tour of the constellations. You’ll learn how to navigate the night sky and hear the ancient stories behind the stars.
Deep Space Reveal
Move beyond what the human eye can see. Using our specialized astrophotography telescope, you'll watch as multiple images are layered in real-time, suddenly revealing the vivid colors and hidden structures of deep-space nebulae and galaxies.
Through the Eyepiece
Step up to the glass of our high-powered telescope for a series of visual targets. Depending on the season, we’ll bring planets, double-stars, ancient star clusters, and the rugged craters of the Moon directly to your eye.
Capture the Moment
Leave with more than just a memory. We’ll take a professional, long-exposure portrait of you against the star-filled Big Bend nightscape—a stunning digital keepsake of your night under the stars to take home.

Meet Your Guide
Hi, I'm Eric. The first time I experienced a moonless night in Big Bend, I couldn't believe how dark it was. I could barely see my hand in front of my face — but the sky was overwhelming. I knew I wanted other people to have that same moment. So I built Starlingua to bridge the gap between complex astronomy equipment and a relaxed, unforgettable evening in the desert. Whether you're a lifelong space nerd or just looking for a beautiful night under the stars, I can't wait to show you the universe from this place.
